Description:

This module is a comprehensive and scientific guide to understanding the impact of exercise on the gastrointestinal system and addresses common gastrointestinal conditions in athletes. It covers the physiological pathways during exercise that can lead to GI issues and provides dietary interventions to alleviate distress. Exercise physiologists will learn the benefits of training the gut with nutrition and gain the skills to develop personalized gut training plans for athletes using basic strategies. By focusing on optimizing gut health, this module equips exercise physiologists with the tools to enhance athletic performance and overall well-being.
