February 11 is recognized as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. March 8th will also be International Women's day. These days are an annual observance to promote the full and equal access and participation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields and aims to break down barriers and stereotypes that have historically limited the participation of women in these fields.
To celebrate, the CSEP Student Committee is hosting a fireside roundtable with Dr. Jenna Gillen, Julianna Dreger, Dr. Kenzie Friesen, and Dr. Nancy Gyurcsik where we will discuss their unique experiences as women in the field of exercise physiology.
Keep an eye out for an email from the CSEP Student Committee representative at your school for information regarding a group listening session! We hope to see you there!
