Practical Steps for Writing an Effective Research Abstract Abstracts are the smallest part of your paper but are arguably the most important. The abstract is the first, and sometimes only, part of your paper that readers see. A well-written abstract can capture attention, communicate the significance of your research, and help persuade a journal editor that your manuscript is worth further consideration. This webinar will explore why abstracts matter and provide practical steps and best practices for writing clear, concise, and effective research abstracts.
