This module is one of four online interactive modules that provide specific preparation for attaining the CSEP Exercise & Depression Specialization™ and are intended to increase your confidence in working with clients with depression.
Module 3: Supportive Strategies
Module 3 introduces you to different Seven strategies to support exercise adherence in people with depression. These strategies are adapted from seven different empirical traditions: Person-centred therapy, exercise psychology, motivational interviewing, behavioural activation, problem solving therapy, and cognitive therapy. After, we will review strategies to support the other movement behaviours: how to promote good sleep hygiene and reduce sedentary behaviour and screen time.
